Include consented uploads in an unlisted branded event gallery

Only sessions guests choose to upload are included. Anyone with the gallery link can view those uploads. Links expire after seven days.

Presets include event artwork, guest settings, custom cues, printer selection and available camera values. Credentials are excluded.

Online planning uses the included portal server. Configure its HTTPS address and access token in Settings, then sync before the event. Synced events stay available offline.

Guest experience

Mirror countdown per photo (seconds)

Default 5 seconds before each of the four photos, after the animated prompt finishes. Standard mode uses the separate countdown below.

Captured-photo preview (seconds)

Show each captured photo for 4 seconds by default, including the final photo. Adjustable 0–30 seconds; 0 turns previews off. Applies to Standard and Mirror modes.

Play fun mirror voice prompts

Mirror voice volume (0–100)

Preview, upload or change mirror animations and voices

Replace each prompt at any time. MP4 video, or a separate MP3/WAV/M4A voice file. Maximum 10 MB and 30 seconds each. A voice override replaces the video’s sound. Changes stay saved on this computer when upgrading.

Choose Mac camera / webcam to test with your built-in camera and live preview. Choose Demo to try the flow. Choose Canon SDK for automatic USB capture.

Camera source

Webcam preview device (separate from Canon USB)

For the EOS R100, choose Canon USB — EDSDK as the capture source. It uses the SDK path below, not the webcam list. R100 firmware 1.3.0 or newer is required for SDK capture. Use a USB data cable and close EOS Utility before testing. This package includes Canon EDSDK 13.21.10. Its library path is filled automatically.

Allow camera access in your browser. Preview is mirrored; saved photos read normally. Stop preview to release the camera. Leave auto-print unchecked for camera-only testing.

Autofocus before each Canon photo

Live-view focus assist; on by default. Set the lens/camera to AF to try it. If focus assist is unavailable, normal shutter capture still runs. To lock manual focus, set the lens/camera to MF.

Automatic Canon capture retries

Default: two retries with camera reconnection. Set 0 to turn retries off. A valid photo already received is kept without firing again.

Countdown seconds per photo

Use JPEG capture. In Canon SDK mode, close EOS Utility first. Folder mode waits for an external shutter action; it does not trigger the camera.

Canon camera settings & test photo

For your external hot-shoe trigger: keep the built-in flash closed and use the camera’s M still-photo mode. This app does not require the built-in flash. Changes below adjust the actual camera exposure.

ISO / flash-photo brightness

Lighter / darker moves ISO one supported step. Select a numeric ISO first. This changes new photos; it does not edit the test photo already shown.

Use JPEG quality for booth transfers

If the camera is RAW-only, the app selects a supported JPEG setting before shooting. Save settings to change this option.

Test photos do not print or start a guest session. Each test fires once.

Printer profile to configure

Windows DS620: save one strip profile and automatically reuse it for every print. If the driver hides its cutter option, open its settings once: 4×6 / 6×4 paper, Portrait, 300 DPI, Border disabled, 2-inch cut enabled. Click OK to save.

Automatically submit 1 sheet after capture

Auto-print is disabled for Demo sessions.

Install the DNP driver. Set 4×6 portrait, correct media, no added margins and the driver's 2-inch / 2×6 cutting option. Use DNP setup above to save the paper/cutter profile for this app. Driver-private cutter options may require the one-time driver dialog. Test once on each computer.

Printing thank-you screen

Black screen with your logo and “Thank you! Your photos are printing.” Displays after a print is accepted by the queue. Replace the entire screen with your own artwork.

Recommended: 1080 × 1920 for Mirror mode. Other sizes fit without cropping. Include your desired logo and text in the image. Maximum 10 MB.

Choose an external-drive folder outside Photo Booth Events. Originals and finished images are copied after the session; backup errors appear on Staff dashboard.

Preferred aperture

Applied on camera connection only when the lens and shooting mode support it. Camera adjustments made above are retained.

Router & internet

The booth does not disable network adapters or change your internet routes. This check reads Windows adapter status without changing it.

Live-view brightness

Screen brightness only 280%

Brightens the live camera and filter preview only. ISO, aperture, captured photos and prints stay at their camera exposure. More boost can make noise visible.

Final photo-strip preview (seconds)

The finished strip appears before the thank-you logo and print submission.

Event email sender

Optional. Configure your email provider’s SMTP sender and app password. Small exports are attached; larger events require the updated HTTPS portal to deliver a private ZIP link.
